So I was walking around the house saying that I needed a picture for the day. Corey said,"well I don't want it to be of me." He then proceeded to make this face for the camera. Crazy kid!
So, Kari got new bedroom furniture two weeks ago but I haven't posted pictures because her mattress came in as a twin and her new bed is a full. Anyway, we are getting the mattress this weekend. Here is her new dresser.
Basketball and baseball/softball seasons overlap for about 1 1/2 months. Our weekly practice schedule is shaping up like this: Sunday-softball, Monday-baseball and guitar lessons, Tuesday-basketball, Wednesday-softball, Thursday-rest, Friday-basketball, Saturday-basketball games. I don't even have the game schedule for baseball and softball yet!
So we went to Kari's basketball game today and within minutes of getting out of the car, Corey got stung by a bee on his finger and his nose started to bleed.
A boy at school gave Kari this Kings skate that sticks to the window as a late Christmas gift. He is a paraplegic and wheelchair bound. Kari and this boy have been buddies since 3rd grade.
Well, after 38 years, I am finally retiring my childhood furniture. Kari has had it for the last 10 years. It has held up very well. Here it is all piled up in the living room. Anyone need "new" furniture?
Kari went ice skating today with Auntie and crew. Some of the Los Angeles Kings and announcers were at the ice rink signing autographs. She met players Anze Kopitar, Ratis Ivanans, and Jean-Sebastien Aubin and Kings announcers Nick Nickson and Jim Fox. She was so thrilled!
Came home today. When we got to the bottom of the mountain to have some lunch in Victor Valley, it was a bit windy and you could see the storm coming over the mountains.
