Demolition Day---our room/office in our garage is an unpermitted room that we had to disclose to the new buyers. They had the option to keep it or have us remove it. Well, they wanted it removed. Family and friends came over to help us out tonight. The white stuff floating through the air is not snow but instead dust that the flash on my camera picked up. Gross!!!

Poor Jasper had to be shaved again today. He got himself all matted and there was no other solution than to shave him. He has a fresh start again and we won't let his hair grow so long next time.

Casey and Corey let Jasper out in the backyard tonight after getting home from guitar lessons. Jasper started barking up a storm so they rushed out to see what was wrong. They found a racoon in our pine tree. We have had a lot of possums but never a racoon.

Saturday night we went to the Staples Center to watch a Kings hockey game. We had great seats in the lower level. During the pregame warm up, the kids went down to the ice to get a closer look at some of their favorite players...Anze Kopitar is one of Kari's favorites.

Today the kids and I went out to a co-worker's house along with another teacher and her kids. We all got to ride one of her horses. We had a great time!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! What a way to start off the year...USC wins 38-24 over Penn State!
