Well, another year of Relay. We had a great time and raised money for a great cause. Here are some highlights of our day. We hung out with friends, students, family, and made some new friends along the way.

Kari was invited to the Arroyo Seco Jr. High award program tonight. She received the Rick Knutson Citizenship scholorship award for her entire team of 150 students! We are so proud of her.

Corey received 3 awards today...community service for participating in student valet, student council award, and honor roll.
West Ranch Baseball won their first playoff game 6-2.

We celebrated two retirements from my department at work tonight. Terry has taught 35 years and Karla has taught 38 years. Congratulations Terry and Karla...we will miss you both!

Busy and hot Saturday...only 100 degrees today. Kari played in the softball all-star game today.

Then we headed over to a retirement picnic for Kari and Corey's second grade teacher Ms. Guss. She is an awesome teacher. We are so lucky to have had her for both kids.

This is what one looks like when a baseball meets your eye. Casey was throwing to a batter in the cage today and the ball came off the players bat, ricocheted off of a pole, and bounced off his face. He is fine and says it looks worse than it feels.
