Kari joined a traveled softball team called the Smashers. Our first tournament was in Palm Springs at the Big League Dreams Park (a ball field for kids that are replicas of major league ball parks like Fenway and Wrigley). Kari is the youngest on her team as an 8th grader. All of her teammates are on their high school softballs teams.
Kari made two outs at home!
The Smashers came in 2nd place in the tournament of 10 teams.
