We went on a little over 2 mile hike into Placerita Canyon today.Lots of burned trees from the fires last year but many show signs of new green growth.

It is 9:55PM and I was wandering the house looking for a picture of the day when I walked into my room knowing Casey was in there. It was pitch black and I yelled "hey, what are you doing in here?" and snapped a picture in the dark. This is what Casey was doing in the darkness...silly Casey.

A day of sports...the plan for the day was Kari had a double header at 8AM and 10AM, then off to a 3:30PM start for the USC football game, and then to the 7:00PM Kings game. The morning started off with a thunder storm which cancelled both of Kari's games so we got a jump on the USC game. We always head to the campus first for the pregame festivities. We listen to the USC marching band in front of Heritage Hall and then follow them over to the coliseum. We had a small storm blow through prior to the start of the game. USC won 56-0.

After a quick change, we were off to the Kings game at the Staples Center. We had a great time but the Kings lost 2-3.


A thank you to Auntie and the kids for watching Jasper. He would have been so bored all day without us.
